She's Here!!!

Lila May
Born September 23 10:21 a.m.
7 pounds 8 ounces
20 inches long

Do you want to hear my birth story? Here goes:
10:00 - taken to operating room
10:21 - baby born by c-section
11:00 - wheeled to recovery room
We try to keep things exciting :)
This is how Lila spent the first 45 minutes of her life

We're a little concerned....she may have an attitude

Jeremy was a little bored in the recovery room. They wouldn't let me go until I could move my legs - it was a long couple of hours...

I sure do love him :)

Be thankful there's one picture of me on here - like pregnancy, hospital pictures + me = not a good combination.

Paige and Lila

Apparently holding babies does not come naturally to little boys

Both Nate and Tanner really like to just look at her, though :)

You could search the world over and not find a more proud or more excited big sister!

All 5 kidlets and Grandma Jan

Whew! She stopped crying!

Sweet Lila May

Please don't turn us in for child abuse for this picture - we thought is was funny~
We're so grateful to our Heavenly Father for the blessing of a healthy baby girl in our family!

Congrats! I can't believe she's here already! Are your swollen cankles any better now?
She's sure a cutie; what fun to have a newborn around again! With so many older siblings, she should be well taken care of! I hope you're well taken care of too!

Why the c-section? Was she breech?

She really is a super-cute baby. Can't wait to hear more after you have had her home for a few days.

Brenda - it's kindof a long story, but apparently not all ob's are as comfortable with v-bacs as my dr. in layton was, that's the reason for the c-section - it went really well, though.

Love the screaming pictures, they are so cute. I hope she sleeps good for you. Tell Jeremy he is terribly entertaining, I bet you were not bored at all in the hospital. Conrats again!!!
