Thanks, Brenda, for the tag. I always love a chance to talk about the love of my life.
What is his name? Jeremy Lorenzo Hobbs
How long have you been married? 10 1/2 years (where does the time go? I can't believe it's been that long)
How long did you date? Hmmm, this is a hard one. We started dating when I was 17 and he was 18. We got married when I was 21 and he was 22. It was an on/off/on thing almost that whole time. So...who knows?
How old is he? 32. He is only a year and a month older than me, and I love being able to tease him that he is "way older" than me.
Who eats more sweets? That's a toss up. I would have to say....me.
Who said I love you first? He did. It was the night before he left to go to the MTC.
Who is taller? He is by far. I am 5' 9", he is 6' 4"
Who can sing better? Me. He kinda struggles with the whole keeping-a-tune thingy.
Who is smarter? He is, HANDS DOWN. Unlike Brenda who had the same ACT score as her husband, Jeremy and I's scores were nowhere near each other. Here's an example of our smarts. I almost flunked calculus (holy moly, I can't even spell the word, does that look right?) my senior year. The only reason I didn't flunk was because my teacher was my track coach and also felt sorry for me that I tried so hard and still didn't get it. Jeremy took so much math in college that if he would have taken two more math classes, he would have had a math minor. Do you get the picture?
Who does the laundry? Me. I think he did a load or two while I was gone to Salmon. It surprised me because I wasn't sure if he knew how to work them (in his defense we just got new ones last spring)
Who pays the bills? I do. He commented the other day about how he has no idea how much money we have at any given time and he has no idea where the money goes. Scary.
Who sleeps on the right side of bed? I do. When we first got married I slept on the left. When Nate and Tanner were born, the only place we could fit the crib in our tiny apartment was on his side of the bed. He couldn't handle it when their apnea monitors would go off, so we switched sides of the bed. It just stuck, I guess!
Who mows the lawn? I do most of the time. I hate weed eating, so I leave that to him.
Who cooks dinner? I do. Jeremy is such a great cook, though. His secret (I emphasize the word "secret") wish is to be a chef. He's great with a BBQ.
Who drives? Jeremy. One of his pet peeves - men who let their wives drive. It's a very bad sign that the husband has been whooped into submission.
Who is more stubborn? I am. He is so good at saying sorry when he knows he is wrong. Sometimes I think he even says it just to keep the peace. He can't stay mad for more than about 5 minutes. He's so thoughtful.
Who asked out whom first? I asked him to MORP when I was 16 and he was 17.
Who proposed? Jeremy did. We are both very old fashioned that way. He called my dad first and asked his permission.
Who has more siblings? Definitely Jeremy. I have 2, he has 7.
Who wears the pants? I'd have to think about that one. I think it depends on the situation. I think I'll say Jeremy.

I think that is funny that men who let their wives drive the car are whooped. It is so funny - I forgot that our husbands are alike in a lot of ways, because I think Nathan would secretly want to be a chef too. Or a movie stunt car driver.
And I forgot to reply about your ultrasound question - I end up having one about every third appointment or so....
